The All I Want For Christmas is You hitmaker has long been associated with the holidays, not just because of her beloved festive anthem, but for her unashamed passion for the festivities.
This year, though, she worried her book, The Meaning of Mariah, which has proved to be a popular gift for devotees, might not be the happy tonic people need after a difficult year of the coronavirus crisis and global lockdowns - and it was a relative who alerted her to the fact.

Heavy metal star Dee Snider still has no idea if Celine Dion has clocked he was the brains behind her Christmas hit God Bless Us Everyone.
The Twisted Sister star wrote the track for his wife, Suzette, and decided to offer it up to producer pals during a lean period in the early 1990s.
Boyz II Men almost recorded it and then an old pal offered to pass it along to Celine for an upcoming festive album. She loved the track and Snider urged his friend not to tell her that he was the songwriter, fearing she might balk at the idea of recording one of Satan s tunes.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A young boy is spending his Christmas at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, but he’s happy to be there after receiving the Christmas gift of a lifetime.
By the age of 8, Kaiden Barron had already underwent five open-heart surgeries. His family said he was doing great until very recently.
“About six weeks ago, he started coughing up these very strange white things that were hard,” said his mother, Ashley Barron.
